Introduction to funnel chart in PowerBI

A funnel chart represents data in a funnel-shaped format, showing stages in a process and the corresponding values, typically decreasing at each stage. It’s ideal for visualizing conversion rates, sales processes, or any sequential data flow. Use it to identify bottlenecks, drop-off points, and areas for improvement in processes like lead conversion or user retention.

Credit cards are the least chosen method of payment, with a total of 100.77K in total spending. E-wallets come in close behind, with 109.99K in total spending. The chart makes it clear that Cash is the most popular way of payment when it comes to total sales.

Conclusion

Funnel chart in PowerBI help us visualize the progress of data at different stages in a process, showing the decrease in data as it moves from one stage to the next. The chart starts with a wide bar at the top, indicating the initial stage with the largest value. As the data progresses through each next stage, the bars become narrower, showing the decrease in values. This helps to identify drop-off points and understand how data is filtered at each stage of the process.
